is this year on November 19th. Well....it's officially on November 20th, but that's a Saturday so all the adoptions take place the day before at the courthouses.

November 19th is our wedding anniversary.

Looks like we'll have more than just our wedding to celebrate on that day.

Nov. 19 is also my hubby's bday and Rhonda's bday!

We've been waiting for about 4 months for an adoption worker to be assigned. She called us yesterday and we set up the apointment for today.

She gave us our options and told us that we could participate in National Adoption Day on Nov. 19th.

Lori started tearing up. Luckily she said it was our wedding anniversary. Of course, I remembered as soon as I heard the date, too.

Now we have to come to terms with what their middle names will be. We're close. I'm sure it's like naming a baby. Except your baby gets to veto your favorites. Dalton's is set in stone. Bailey.....nosomuch.

Bailey Christ is one of HER finalist. Still. She doesn't get the irony.

What is Dalton's going to be (if it's not a surprise?)

Mckenzie has a good friend whose name is Avery Sh@y Sm!th. those parents didn't think that one through!

We're using Lori's dad's name for Dalton.

Dalton Thomas. He likes it. We like it. Lori's dad will be honored. They're best buds.

Bailey.....we don't really want to name her after anyone. My brother has a daughter who has my grandmother's name (Thelma). So, we don't want to copy. Lori's mom is fine with that.

Bailey wants Lauryn. I was favoring Renee (I seem to like a lot of "R" middle names). Lori has several that she likes.

Today, the leading candidate is Bailey Faith. But, we're still up in the air. We've started to call her that recently....so.....maybe it'll stick.

Bailey Lauryn flows BLP, not to bad. She is too young for the BP to be a problem. (yes I really think about initials)

Bailey Faith works BFP (could be an issue.. .Big F'ing P...)

Xavier's isnt so bad, but mitch only noticed today a year later and said, hey did you realize what his initials say, yes dear.
XGL, means on clothes, extra grand/large. grand is large in french.
