wooohoo! i bought some new jeans today - size 10! and my butt doesn't disappear in 'em... sam teases me that i have no butt. well, compared to her i really don't. starting to get a complex, though, so i'm on the lookout for pants with flap back pockets - they kinda help.

and my favorite thing about summer is i don't wear a watch.

and my hubby'll be home tomorrow for a night or two.

I want an ipod docking station. but none of them will work with the stupid otter box case on my iphone. I have to have the otter box in case I "drop the phone".. oh well.. I will figure something out.

It's so hot here my dog doesn't want to go for walks. At midnight last night it was still 90.

We went swimming in the lake with the kids for the first time yesterday. We tried to make sure the kids knew to be careful. Somebody drowned in the lake recently and that story was going around the site. So my little girl decided that if you went outside the yellow pipe (swim area) you automatically died. So, we spent a long while last night talking about "what if's..." and why that kid wasn't where he was supposed to be and why he didn't know how to swim and where his mom and dad were. I earned my parenting badge just getting her to go to sleep.

What do they put in the food at McDonalds that gets kids to eat their stuff? My kids won't touch their dinners....unless it has a big giant "M" on the side of the bag.

Golf is boring enough, but I still watch it on TV for the drama. Bt the British Open has no appeal to me. There is no trees and the wind is blowing 40 miles an hour. It's like if they held Dancing With The Stars on a mountain. Get a tree.

My priority in life right now is to try to figure out how to motivate my boy to get out of bed in the morning BEFORE he pees. I can't figure out if he does it in his sleep or if he enjoys the attention he gets in the morning. We don't punish....but we're starting to think he could stop if he were motivated to better than we are motivating.

Random... Don't have much this morning. I hate long drives, wish I could afford to fly to Atlanta.

Amelia wants to go to the mall while we are here. That is a shocker: Teen girl wants to go to a huge mall.

My phone is set to Wifi but is still using the 3G network. (you said random)

We're supposed to work on our back roof today but Brad is still in bed! He has to get up and run to Lowe's.

I'm doing laundry right now but when the washer's done, I need to take a shower because I didn't yesterday and now my hair is oily.

I thought about making a real breakfast, but decided Poptarts are easier.

Last weekend, Reagan and I went through all her toys to find baby toys to donate to a local family who lost everything in a house fire last weekend, but 1. we still didn't actually get the toys to them yet and 2. Reagan still has way, way too many toys.

I think my least favorite thing about summer is that I have to constantly shave my legs. I don't worry about that too much during winter.

As most of you saw on FB my friend/co-worker Stu left Friday to take a new position - and I've been heavily traumatized by it all. New young (28) thing starts tomorrow. Should be interesting.

I need my head examined because I just agreed to not only do demonstrations for Cricut at Michael's, I've agreed to demo at Best Buy 4 times in August.

A&E's house is coming right along - completely framed and the roof is on.

Still seeing the guy from a couple of weeks ago - not ready to go public on FB with it yet, so please keep it here. He brings me cherry cokes from Sonic, how can you not like that?

I've been doing laundry all weekend. Load after load. I have way more clothing than I realized. I have a whole $hitload that I'm going to donate just to get rid of it. I thought for a second about having a yardsale, but donating is just sooo much easier and hasslefree.

I have TONS of laundry to 2 do, I have a feeling that over half of it will be donated

Drove down to see DD#1. She, Alex, and I went to lunch and saw Despicable Me.
Need to go slice potatoes for dinner.
Alex is going to day camp this week, so I have all day to myself! Yay!!
