i had this cotton canvas shoulder bag since i was 12.
I got it for my first camping trip in Girl Guides. i was supposed to have a back pack for hiking, but my parents bought it because it was cheaper-they were clueless, but anyways.
it's a small bag, and i used it for TONS of things over the years but camping. Grew to love it, although i was still ticked about the camping thing. It has held up over the years. Indestructible, but not water proof. I haven't really used it in about 10 years. In my purging session, i pulled it out of storage and thought, OMG this would be perfect to use as a mini diaper bag for the stroller. It's very boy, and with the strap i was able to attach it no problem.
