they don't call me the sketch ho for nuttin'!

yeah but do you print them out, sort them by the size/number of photos, put them in page protectors and then in binders???? (I have 4 binders full.. FULL.. of sketches.. I's a sketch ho too.. )

LOL I've dreamed of printing and putting sketches into binders, but have never actually done it.

I print the Page Maps, because they are all on one page.

It all started with ONE binder. My niece made me a sketch binder one year for my birthday. She printed out a BUNCH of sketches. I LOVED it. She noticed how much I used it. SOOO for Christmas she made me another one. Then I just keep adding to it. I really need to go through them and pull out the duplicate pages. But she was soo proud of herself for thinking of the gift and creating it for me. Now she's 20 and all growed up..

i'm not quite that anal, but i do print and put 'em in a book...

now, THIS is a challenge for me - since I don't normally like to use sketches,, it stresses me out. but I will do it. What's funny is that when I DO use a sketch, I get so many nice comments about the design!!

just remember, you can rotate the sketch, flip it (mirror image), switch out elements in it - for example, the sketch shows a star as an embellishment - you don't HAVE to use a star. use any other shape, if you want, or a journaling block there... make it yours!

My results seldom resemble the sketch. Lol

I couldn't scrap without sketches. Lately every layout has started as a sketch.

candace, it's been a challenge for me NOT to use sketches!

my problem is that i take the sketch too literally and too seriously. i find I have trouble 'making them my own.'

Amiee, it helps me to know you use them all the time. I sometimes feel like 1/2 a scrapper for using them all the time.

I heart sketches. I bookmarked all of the sites so I can revisit them later. I am almost finished with the layout for this challenge. umm.. but my actual product looks nothing like the sketch. but it gave me a starting point. In the morning I shall ink what needs to be inked, adhere what needs to be adhered, link what needs to be linked, and post what needs to be posted.

But for now. I am TIRED!!! soo I am going to bed!!! ngiht night..

that's the least favorite layout I have done in months. it's just cardstock, and pp.. in fact the yellow is all from one sheet.. it's a pp (reminisce?) that had tone on tone words... covered the words since they didn't match the layout. used it for matting.
